July MAAWLE Member Highlight: Captain Rosemarie Noll
Captain Rosemarie Noll began her law enforcement career in 1995 working as an investigator with the Somerset County Probation Department and as a probation officer with the Ocean County Probation Department.
Captain Rosemarie Noll joined the Amtrak Police Department in 2002 as a Police Officer in the New York Division, after she attended and successfully completed the Trenton Police Academy in Trenton, NJ. Captain Noll worked as a patrol officer and as an administrative officer to retired Deputy Chief Hart before being promoted to Sergeant in 2009.
Captain Noll’s formal education includes an Associates Degree from Mercer County Community College centering on Humanities and Social Sciences, a Bachelor’s Degree from Rowan University majoring in Law and Justice and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Homeland Security from the American Military University, with an anticipated graduation in 2017.
Throughout her career with the APD, Captain Noll has been an integral part of numerous committees and teams and has received numerous awards and commendations. Captain Noll is a Physical Fitness Coordinator, a Crisis Intervention Officer, an original member of the APD Long Gun Program, a member of the National Safety Team and a proud member of the Amtrak Police Pipes and Drums.
Captain Noll is a 2015 recipient of the Presidential Service and Safety Award. Captain Noll was also the Vice President of Supervisors and Detectives with the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 189 Labor Committee prior to her appointment to Captain.
Captain Rosemarie Noll was promoted to the rank of Captain on January 18, 2016. She is in responsible for 104 sworn members and 8 non-sworn members of the New York Division which encompasses NY, NJ, and parts of PA.
